Caroline Sanchez Crozier

CSC Learning is an approved “SES tutoring provider” under the federal “No Child Left Behind Act” which funds private after-school tutoring programs for K-12 education nationwide. In 2008, CSC Learning added a second location, Julex Learning Center, in Burr Ridge, Illinois. A tutoring enrichment program focused on accelerating student achievement to increase SAT/ACT scores is available at this center. Additionally, professional development services are provided to educators statewide.
Ms. Crozier’s passion for learning began at an early age. She was an immigrant from Mexico and the first member of her family to receive a college degree (Dominican University) and become a certified public accountant (CPA). Before becoming an entrepreneur, Ms. Crozier held various financial positions in major corporations including Premark, McDonald’s Corporation, Continental Bank, and Deloitte & Touche. She formed CSC in 1988 as a technology and education firm. With the support of her family, the company grew from one person to twenty five people within 5 years.Ms. Crozier contributes time and expertise to numerous educational initiatives in the U.S. and Mexico. In 1998 she initiated a model for a new Master of Arts in Teaching and Technology for bilingual teachers at Dominican University, River Forest, Illinois. In 2008, as a celebration of CSC Learning’s 20th anniversary, $700,000 in software and service grants were awarded to 50+ schools in Illinois to establish Reading Intervention Technology Leadership Demonstration Sites.
She has received numerous local and national awards, including the prestigious Small Business Person of the Year Award from the U.S. Small Business Administration. She is an active board member of the Illinois Literacy Foundation, Leadership, Chicago Workforce Board, Dominican University, and the League of United Latin American Citizens (LULAC). In addition, she is an advisory member of Nacional Financiera Banca de Desarrollo (NAFIN) – Mexico and is a member of the Network of Hispanic Administrators in Education.She has been featured in Chicago Tribune, Chicago Sun Times, Crain’s Chicago Business, Daily Southtown, Dunn & Bradstreet, Today’s Woman Chicago Magazine, Exito, Extra, Hispanic Business Magazine, Inc. Magazine, Hispanic Magazine, Latina Style, Nation’s Business Magazine, La Raza, Otro, Talking to the Boss and others.
Ms. Crozier resides in Summit, Illinois, with her husband and two children, Julian and Alex. Terry Crozier serves as the firm’s Chief Operating Officer.
