Orlando Saez / President

Orlando has led several startup companies including a Chicago Internet Service Provider into a ($10M+) successful acquisition by the large telecom service provider, NASDAQ Winstar/IDT. More recently, as VP of Product Marketing, he managed the growth and successful exit of Concourse Communication Group in a $30M+ transaction.
Earlier, Orlando was the Chief Technology Officer for West Indies and Grey Advertising, a global advertising agency, directing the agency’s technology infrastructure in Puerto Rico, Venezuela and Mexico.Previously, Orlando held several software engineering and product management roles at Motorola and AT&T Bell Laboratories, where he pioneered the commercialization of wireless CDMA and other telecommunication technologies.
In 2008, he was appointed by Chicago’s Mayor Richard M. Daley to serve on the board of the Mayor’s Council of Technology Advisors promoting workforce and economic development initiatives.Orlando is an Associate Member of the Airport Council International (ACI-NA), and serves on its Business and Information Technology Committee.
He is also on the board of the Chicagoland Entrepreneurial Center, one of the largest non-profit organizations in the US, helping early stage companies to achieve sustainable growth. He is also a founding contributor in the Illinois Innovation Accelerator Fund (i²A), an innovative $10 million for-profit early-stage investment fund.Orlando is President of the board of the Latino Technology Alliance, a non-profit organization advancing economic growth through science, technology, engineering and math. He is also a member of the Chicago Economic Club and serves on the board of the YMCA Rauner in Chicago.
Orlando holds a B.S. in Computer Engineering from the University of Puerto Rico, an M.S. in Computer Science from the Illinois Institute of Technology and an MBA with concentration in Corporate Strategy and Finance from IIT Stuart Graduate School of Business.
